Maggie Cross is a trained teacher of children and adults and has been teaching Chinese painting for many years. She spent her childhood in Hong Kong where she learnt to speak Cantonese as well as the art of calligraphy and painting. She has written three books and produced a DVD. Maggie exhibits with The Society of Floral Painters and her work is in collections in the United Kingdom and abroad. See full profile
Mary Day trained in embroidery and Design at Loughborough College of Art and Design and in adult teaching at Nottingham University. She has specialised in painting on silk for more than 30 years and has run her own specialist silk painting studio since 1985. Mary has taught widely in painted silks and allied techniques including marbling and papermaking. She has taught in the USA, Germany, France and Singapore, and was involved in writing the City and Guilds Level 2 course for silk painting. See full profile
Shirley Eccles holds qualifications in Fine Art and Ceramics & Glass. As a qualified teacher she has a wealth of experience including running her own teaching studio in South Africa. Her glass art has been selected on many occasions for the British Glass Biennale and she has won scholarships to both Pilchuck in Seattle, USA and North Lands Glass, Lybster Scotland. See full profile
